Smith Western Horsham

Smith & Western brings a little piece of the good-old Wild West to Horsham Sussex.

Walking through the doors of Smith & Western, the authentic Wild West decor and walls adorned with memorabilia will make you feel like you have stepped back in time and across the pond. The restaurant even have a jail area, so make sure you don’t step out of line or the town sheriff may lock you up.

There’s no doubt you’ll have plenty of mouth-watering food and drink during your stay. Kids love the ‘buckaroo’ menu, which includes a main meal, drink and dessert with a puzzle book keeps them tied up so the grown-up folk can relax and enjoy their own whip-crackin’ time.

There is an extensive list of blended cocktails, plus wines and beers to accompany the tastiest of appetisers. We highly recommend the Blue Moon beer, although it does go down very easily.

We began with an impressively generous plate of nachos, topped with sour cream, chilli, guacamole and salsa, smothered with melted cheese. To follow, we had the equally impressive Extravaganza Feast with wings and ribs which is best served with the southern comfort glaze. For desert you just have to have the birthday Belly Buster which comes out with a racket from the impeccable and attentive staff.

The atmosphere is good and it’s certainly a good place for a birthday or celebration as its very informal and lots of noise. Try it, i bet you go back for more 😉
