It was a very busy at work with my head stuck in the laptop all morning and i needed to give my eyes a break. I decided to take a trip to the local Co-Op to have a browse through the wine section to see what was on offer.

After a few minutes this little bottle Trapiche Pure Malbec 2013 caught my eye. It was priced at £6.99 reduced from £8.99 and it was a Malbec which is one of my favourite types of wines. SO i thought lets give it a try.

So once again on a cold Saturday night, The Voice on the box, the log fire raging we stared early and cracked open this bottle.

The ‘Pure’ in the name refers to the fact that it is an unoaked wine. This medium bodied Malbec is a cracker. With hints of cherry, smoke and plum this well balanced red definately deserves an Oscar nomination for taste. A smooth well balanced wine that most people will enjoy.

So go now, dont pass go and get yourself a little bargain you wont be disappointed
